Sonica Minhas
Sonica is a medical doctor and currently a researcher at the University of Oxford. Her research interests lie in child protection and health, and the prevention of violence against children and women through the development and implementation of data-driven, evidence-based policy and programming.

Sonica has contributed to work by the Lancet Commission on Gender-Based Violence and Maltreatment of Young People, including contributions to the global burden of disease study on violence against women and children improving understanding of the health consequences of violence. She is currently working on a global review of what works to prevent child sexual violence.
Sonica earned her medical degree at Queen Mary University of London and recently graduated from her MPH at Harvard University, including completing a certificate program in child protection.
