“Global Alert: Humanitarian situations for concern” has one purpose - to bring to public attention situations around the world in which a large scale threat to life and well-being is likely or occurring.  The extent of crisis situations and the number of individuals impacted continues to increase but information about their needs is not easily available.

On this website information from humanitarian agencies, academic sources and credible media is collected and made available. The focus is humanitarian needs.  We verify that the reports are authentic to ensure that the information is not politically motivated or biased.  HDPI, Inc who facilitated this function, is an independent, not-for-profit, charitable global network of humanitarians, with no political or sectarian affiliation.
