William J. Hawk

Bill Hawk is professor of philosophy and chairs, Ethical Reasoning in Action home to the Eight Key Question ethical reasoning strategy, James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Virginia.  He leads ethical reasoning workshops for universities, professional and nonprofit organizations, and corporations. He studied law at Washington and Lee University School of Law and received his masters and Ph.D. in philosophy (ethics and social-political philosophy) from Vanderbilt University.  He has published in applied and practical ethics and critical thinking. Currently Bill serves as assistant editor to the International Encyclopedia of Ethics.
