Claudio Schuftan
Claudio Schuftan, M.D., born in Chile and currently based in Ho Chi Minh City, works as a freelance consultant in public health. He is the author of over eighty five scholarly papers published in refereed journals and of several book chapters plus over four hundred other assorted publications. He has carried out over one hundred consulting assignments 50 countries in five continents. He has worked long term in his native Chile, the US, Cameroon, Kenya and Vietnam. He is fluent in five major languages. He is an immediately past active member of the Steering Council of the People’s Health Movement and now of the World Public Health Nutrition Association. He is the author of a long-running blog, the Human Rights Reader counting over 530 issues.
