Becca Balis specializes in social inclusion, with expertise in children and youth, gender, and migrants. She has consulted with the World Bank, UNICEF, ICRC, and UNHCR as well as led on policy development, technical advice, project management, and assessments and evaluations throughout her career. She is trained as an attorney, with specialization in human rights and humanitarian response, as a Blume Scholar at Georgetown Law. She has advised on refugee and migrant protection, children and women’s social safeguards, and social impact initiatives in conflict, post-conflict, and development contexts.
